Hetman Uneraser is a program for recovering lost data that was deleted by accident. The application supports various types of storage devices, provides you with a comprehensive help manual, and allows you to preview the lost files before restoring them.
This utility enables you to select any internal or external storage device that's being connected to your computer. You can also select a folder for scan. The app lets you choose which types of files to look for and select a destination folder for the found data. You can preview images, text documents, etc.
In my testing, I used the trial version of the program to scan an external storage device. The app took several moments to offer me the results I needed. However, since I didn't registered the product, I wasn't able to recover any of the found files. So, you can't see the full potential of the program if you're using the trial version of the app.
Unfortunately, this program isn't capable of recovering the files you lost after the storage device was damaged or infected, the disk was formatted, or the Recycle Bin's items were deleted.
There's another data recovery app on the homepage of the developer that's a bit more expensive than Hetman Uneraser but can complete the aforementioned tasks and more. It's up to you to decide, based on your needs and the reason for losing your data, which of these application is the best for you.
